The receptionists are not medically trained and mistakes could be made if requests for repeat medications are taken by them over the phone. Therefore, in order to minimise errors we CANNOT take Repeat Prescriptions requests over the phone. Please do not send any one under 16 years of age to collect prescriptions. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your repeat prescriptions. You may order your repeat prescriptions by ticking the appropriate boxes on the computer generated scripts (as seen below) or in writing to your doctor. You may place requests in the REPEAT PRESCRIPTION BOX available in the waiting area or post it to us at the surgery address enclosing a self-addressed stamped envelope. Please note that when requests are posted, please allow for the extra time taken by the post to reach you. You may also request repeat prescriptions by fax on 020 8905 0031. (Allow 48hrs before collection) Repeats will not be issued by the doctor or nurse during their consultation.
As per guidelines from Harrow Clinical Commissioning Group, we should not supply more than four weeks' supply of medication at a time. However, if you pay prescription charges, you may request the doctor for 8 weeks' supply. For housebound patients many local pharmacies offer home delivery service and we are happy to liaise directly with them. Please ask the reception staff for more information.
